A magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck Primorye Territory

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 was recorded on the territory of Primorsky Krai. About it on November 21 reported in the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"According to the seismic service of the Primorsky Territory, today at 01:09 was recorded unsusceptible seismic event with a magnitude of 5.9 at a depth of 460 km. The epicenter was located in 49.5 km from the village Vostok Krasnoarmeyskogo district", - writes the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Primorsky Krai in Telegram-channel.

It is noted that after the seismic event life support facilities are working in normal mode.

In this case, the service EQAlert, which carries out online monitoring of earthquakes in Russia, indicated the magnitude of the earthquake 5.1.

Earlier, on November 17, Kamchatka branch of FGBUN FIC "Unified Geophysical Service of RAS" reported about the earthquake with magnitude 5.5 recorded near the eastern coast of Kamchatka.
