Israeli strike on northern Gaza Strip kills 66 people


At least 66 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the northern Gaza Strip as a result of shelling by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) of Kamal Adwan Hospital. Al Jazeera TV channel reported on November 21.
"The death toll has risen to 66 people, most of whom are women and children. More than 100 more people were injured," - stated in the material of the TV channel.
Earlier, on November 16, it became known that the IDF struck the refugee camp Nuseirat in the Gaza Strip. Also IDF aviation struck the northwestern districts of Gaza City.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian radical movement Hamas subjected Israeli territory to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. On the same day, Israel began retaliatory strikes.
