Valentina Alexeeva spoke about the reaction of competitors to Russia's participation in Miss Universe

Valentina Alekseeva from the Chuvash Republic, who represented Russia at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, told Izvestia in an exclusive interview that she was not subjected to heckling from organizers and contestants from other countries, but was prepared for it.

"There are a lot of questions about how Russia is treated at such contests. In fact, everything is fine. There were no conflicts with anyone. I communicated with absolutely all the girls. The organizers also treated me well. The atmosphere was very friendly. Yes, I was prepared that anything could happen at the world contest. But there was no heatedness or negativity towards me. I went to this contest with a positive attitude, and that's why, I think, everything ended well," Alexeeva told Izvestia.

The winner of the Miss Russia 2024 title Valentina Alekseeva represented the country at the Miss Universe pageant and made it to the top 12. The final took place on the night of November 17 in Mexico. The Russian lost the victory to Victoria Kjær, a 21-year-old representative of Denmark.
