Demand for delivery from China to Russia grew by 30%

The terms of cargo delivery from China to Russia have increased from 40 to 55-60 days since August 2024, logistics companies told Izvestia. In the fall of 2024, the demand for various types of delivery (air, rail, road, sea) increased to 30%. Delivery of cargo from China has become in high demand against the background of early preparation of logistics chains for the Chinese New Year, explained in the logistics company GC "ETE" "Izvestia".

Many Chinese plants and factories close one or two weeks before the official holidays, in 2025 in China the New Year is celebrated from January 29. And after the holiday, not all manufacturers return to work immediately, recalled in the transportation company "Logistic Systems".

"As a result, logistics in China will work in a limited mode for about a month," they said.

To solve the logistics problems, companies have to plan their deliveries in advance to minimize the risks of delays, Skif-Cargo said. This includes earlier orders and optimization of logistics routes.
