The Prime Minister and the government of Mali have been sent into resignation

Transitional Prime Minister Chogel Kokallou Maiga and members of the Malian government have resigned on the decision of the country's interim president Assimi Goita. This was reported on November 20 by the Malijet news portal.
"This decision puts an end to the functions of the prime minister as well as members of his government. The decree on the appointment of the Prime Minister, Minister of State, as well as members of the government has been canceled," reads the portal's material.
It is reported that the decision was taken in connection with the public statements of the Prime Minister, questioning the cohesion of the government and the management of the transition period.
Earlier, April 10, the French newspaper Le Monde reported that the military transitional government of Mali announced the suspension of all political parties in the country. It is specified that this step is necessary to maintain public order.
After a long crisis on the territory of Mali in June 2015, the three parties to the conflict signed a peace agreement. The agreement was concluded between the authorities of the republic, the coalition "Coordination of Azawad Movements", which sought the independence of Northern Mali, as well as the pro-government group "Platform".
