Zakharova said a British journalist had infiltrated Lavrov's briefing

A journalist of the British TV channel Sky News has broken into the press conference of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the results of participation in the summit of the Group of Twenty (G20) in Brazil. This was reported on November 20 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
It is noted that only accredited representatives of Russian and Brazilian media were allowed to the event, but the British journalist broke into the hall.
Then Zakharova suggested that journalists vote in favor of her participation in the press conference. Colleagues were unanimously in favor. At the same time during the press conference, she did not manage to ask a question in the allotted time and tried to break through to the Russian minister, but she failed. At the same time, the journalist was initially warned about the time limit of the event.
"There was such a thing," she wrote in her Telegram channel, commenting on the behavior of Western journalists.
The G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro was held from November 18 to 19, Russia was represented at it by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. In the already adopted final declaration, the participants of the meeting welcomed all constructive initiatives to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Kiev amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbas, which was announced on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
