All winter festivals of the capital will be united in a single project "Winter in Moscow". This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin in his blog on Wednesday, November 20.

According to him, like its predecessor - the festival "Summer in Moscow", it will come to every district of the city and will offer citizens a huge choice of activities in the fresh air and in the city's cultural and sports institutions, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".

A total of 1900 locations will work at the festival. The largest winter capital festivals: "Journey to Christmas", "Moscow Manors", "Moscow Tea Party" and many others will be organically integrated into the project, writes NSN.

In total, the city has prepared 25 street stages and 110 indoor venues where concerts, master classes, lectures, sports festivals and other events for Muscovites can be organized, reports IA Regnum.

The main theme of the project "Winter in Moscow" will be the traditions of Russia, which are passed from generation to generation in every family, notes "Moscow 24". For the guests of the festival will prepare dances on the background of retrodecorations, a festival of Soviet feature and animated films, ski retro race and other activities and entertainment, according to the website kp.ru.

The project will start on December 1.

Earlier on November 20, it became known that more than 50 residences of Santa Claus will open in parks near Moscow in winter. In the parks will work Santa Claus mail, stages, warm hearth areas, skating rinks, tubing slides and ski slopes, reports 360.ru.
