The Russian Defense Ministry reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the NWO zone

On November 21, the Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the zone of the special military operation (SMO).

According to the ministry, the deputy chief of an anti-aircraft missile system, senior sergeant Dmitry Grachev, was able to repel an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) while carrying out combat missions to protect military and industrial facilities. Ukrainian militants made an attempt to strike at the positions of Russian troops using airplane-type attack drones.

Its calculation by available radar means detected several unidentified objects in the sky. They made sure that they were not Russian aircraft and launched a missile strike.

Thanks to professional actions, the Russian servicemen managed to destroy several enemy UAVs.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the actions of Sergeant Yan Tashlanov. He was engaged in providing the assault units with ammunition. For several days, the fighter continuously brought ammunition to the forward positions, took the wounded to the rear and returned again with ammunition, despite the constant shelling and attacks by AFU fighters.

One day Tashlanov's vehicle was attacked by an enemy UAV. The lieutenant calculated the flight path of the enemy drone, made a maneuver to the side and was able to prevent the attack.

Thanks to this, ammunition was delivered on time and the Russian units were able to move forward, thus creating conditions for the development of the Russian troops' offensive.

Earlier, on November 20, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Warrant Officer Yevgeny Serdyukov carried out a combat mission to ensure continuous delivery of ammunition to motorized rifle units at the front lines. Courageous and timely actions of the serviceman allowed to save weapons and equipment, as well as to provide the unit with the necessary ammunition and save the lives of the Russian military. And also on the merits of Warrant Officer Ivan Barinov, who carried out a combat mission to storm fortified strongholds and long-term fire installations of Ukrainian militants.

Prior to that, on November 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Petty Officer Badma Dorjiev led the defense of a Russian Armed Forces stronghold for 10 days. The AFU was firing continuously, the enemy forces were outnumbered. The courage and heroism of the Russian unit prevented the enemy from breaking through the lines. The enemy suffered serious losses and was forced to retreat.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
