A man accused of attempted murder of a factory director has been arrested in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, a measure of restraint in the form of remand in custody was chosen for Vyacheslav Ivanov, who is accused of attempted murder of the plant director. This was reported in the joint press service of the city courts on November 20.

According to the investigation, the identified and unidentified persons by prior conspiracy planned to commit murder of the director of CJSC "Baltic Shipyard", as well as his assistants. It is noted that in June 1998, a group of persons stopped a VAZ-2108 car on the road to the Turukhtannye Islands, introduced themselves as police officers and took the director and his assistants out of the car, ostensibly to check their documents. In the absence of passengers and the driver, an explosive device was placed under the driver's seat of the car.

After the car drove away, there was an explosion, which killed one of the assistants, and the second assistant and the director himself received burns and injuries, specified in the message of the press service in the Telegram-channel.

Ivanov was detained the day before and on the same day he was charged under part 3 of article 33 - paragraphs a, f, part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"), he did not admit guilt. The court granted the motion, electing a measure of restraint in the form of detention until January 18, 2025.

Earlier in the day it was reported that the former executive director of the company "Liskimontazhkonstruktsiya" Maxim Permyakov was found murdered in the Kemerovo region. According to the source, the body was found on the highway Kemerovo - Novosibirsk in the evening on Monday, November 18. It is specified that at first the police considered the version with a hit-and-run accident, but later it was established that his death is criminal in nature. On the page "Liskimontazhkonstruktsiya" in the social network "VKontakte" reported that mourning events and funeral will be held at the birthplace of the murdered in Yemangelinsk, Chelyabinsk region. The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Kemerovo region opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").
