In Belgorod region, a teenage girl was injured in a Ukrainian UAV attack

In Belgorod Region, a 15-year-old girl was injured in an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the village of Striguny in Borisovsky district. This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on November 20.

"To the children's regional clinical hospital parents brought a 15-year-old girl who received a closed craniocerebral injury, barotrauma and bruised knee joint as a result of an attack by one of the drones. The victim was hospitalized, all necessary assistance is being provided," Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

About the attack of the AFU the Governor reported earlier in the day. He said that the village of Otradnoye in Belgorod district came under fire, as a result of which a civilian was injured. He was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury and chest contusion. Also, windows were blown out in three private houses, roofs, facades and fences were damaged.

The village of Veselaya Lopan, the village of Oktyabrsky, the village of Bezymeno in the Graivoron municipal district and the village of Striguny in the Borisov district also came under fire. A Gazelle, a passenger car, a residential and a private house were damaged.

On the same day, it was reported that a civilian was injured in the shelling of the town of Shebekino in Belgorod Region by the AFU. According to Gladkov, a man with a facial wound was treated by ambulance personnel. At the same time, the victim refused hospitalization. As a result of Ukrainian shelling, windows were broken in two private houses. Also, residents of three streets of the city were left without light due to damage to the power line.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
