Greek embassy in Kiev closed due to threats of a possible missile attack


The Greek embassy in Kiev has closed amid information received about a possible missile attack. This was reported on November 20 on the embassy's Facebook page (owned by Meta Corporation, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
"For security reasons, the Greek Embassy today (November 20. - Ed.) will remain closed to the public," - stated in the publication.
Earlier on the closure "due to a potential air attack" reported the embassies of the United States, Spain and Italy.
At the same time in the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine said that they are in constant contact with partners regarding potential security threats.
On the eve it was reported that the explosions occurred in the city of Dnipro (until 2016 was called Dnipropetrovsk). An air alert was declared in Kyiv, Chernigov, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovograd and Mykolayiv regions.
On the same day, Ukrainian media reported explosions near the city of Kharkiv. Explosions were also reported near Kiev at the same time.
Russian forces began striking military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine in October 2022. As Russian President Vladimir Putin explained, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kiev regime.
