AvtoVAZ named the condition for obtaining revenue of 1 trillion rubles per year

The revenue of AvtoVAZ may exceed 1 trillion rubles a year if the annual production volume is about 700 thousand cars. This was stated by the president of the domestic company Maxim Sokolov.
According to him, the calculations take into account the fact that the average price of a car is Br1.5 million, as in the current year. Sokolov called crossing the bar of 1 trillion rubles in revenue per year a realistic scenario "with a competent adjustment of industrial policy."
"The production capacities of the entire AvtoVAZ group, taking into account their modernization over the last 2.5 years of the company's recent history, are already designed to produce more than 600,000 cars a year, provided they are at maximum capacity. But, as we said, there are certain macroeconomic and market restrictions that do not allow us to work at this speed," Sokolov is quoted by TASS as saying
In theory, AvtoVAZ can produce a larger volume of cars when developing its capacities, but it depends on the market and industrial policy instruments, the head of the company said. Earlier in November, following the results of the meeting of the Board of Directors, AvtoVAZ reported that the company will produce 500 thousand Lada cars at the end of the current year.
On the eve of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov said that AvtoVAZ can increase annual production volumes to 700 thousand cars per year and more in the next six years. As Sokolov noted, these goals are assumed under the optimistic scenario of the company's development strategy.
Earlier on Wednesday, the head of AvtoVAZ said that the business-class sedan Lada Aura is scheduled to go on sale in December 2024, the first shipments to dealers may begin in November-December.
