Pskov region will receive additional funds for social gasification

The Pskov Region will receive additional money for social gasification. Under the program, privileged categories of citizens can receive a subsidy for connecting houses to gas networks, the press service of the Russian government reports in its Telegram.

18 regions will receive the money, in total more than 140 million rubles will be redistributed. It is expected that the number of concluded contracts for preferential connection to gas in 2024 will exceed 11.1 thousand.

The program of social gasification was launched in 2021, writes Pskov newswire. During the period of the project more than 500 thousand private houses were connected to gas.

Subsidies of at least 100 thousand rubles are provided to parents with many children, people with low incomes, people with disabilities of the first group, citizens caring for disabled children, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, participants of the SWO and members of their families.

In spring 2024, the Russian government extended the social gasification program to gardening associations. To become a participant of the program, it is necessary to obtain title documents for the house and land plot.
