Lukashenko pardons more than 30 convicted of extremist crimes


President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko pardoned 32 convicts, who had committed extremist crimes. This was reported on November 20 on the website of the head of the republic.
Among the pardoned eight women and 24 men: 17 convicts suffer from chronic diseases, one is disabled. Also, 17 people have children, two of them are parents with many children.
In addition, among those pardoned are nine people over 50 years old.
"All of them admitted guilt, repented of what they had done and applied for pardon," - stated in the message.
Control over their behavior will be carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Earlier, November 7, Lukashenko pardoned 31 people convicted of extremist crimes. It is specified that 27 released have children, seven of them - parents with many children.
