The cost of bitcoin updated the historical maximum and exceeded $94 thousand.

The cost of bitcoin reached a new record value, exceeding $94 thousand, thus the price of electronic currency again updated the historical maximum. This follows on November 20 from the data of the largest cryptocurrency trading exchange Binance.

At 16:15 Moscow time, bitcoin exceeded the $94 thousand mark and showed a record $94.008 (+1.78%). Soon, at 16:19 Moscow time, the cryptocurrency intensified growth and was fixed at $94.241 thousand (+2%).

BitRiver financial analyst Vladislav Antonov told Izvestia on November 20 that bitcoin continues to show impressive growth. In his opinion, reaching the $100 thousand mark by the end of 2024 looks quite realistic. He noted that the current growth of the cryptocurrency is due to several key factors, such as the activation of the institutional sector.

On November 11, Capital Lab partner Evgeny Shatov also suggested in a conversation with "Izvestia" that by the end of this year, the value of bitcoin may reach $100 thousand. He added that the rate will grow if Trump continues to declare support for cryptocurrencies, and due to specific actions in this direction.
