Within the framework of the national project "Efficient Transportation System", the Russian government will allocate Br1 trillion for the development of transportation within six years. Such a statement was made by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on November 20.

"Within the next six years, a total of 1 trillion rubles is envisaged within the framework of the "Efficient Transportation System". Moreover, more than half a trillion rubles has already been reserved for these purposes in the draft federal budget for the next three years," he said at a speech at the International Forum and Exhibition "Transport of Russia".

In addition, he noted that the government is finalizing the formation of new national projects. They are expected to be launched from January 2025.

According to Mishustin, the transportation industry in Russia continues to actively develop despite the anti-Russian sanctions.

Earlier, on November 8, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev said that 41 trains manufactured in Russia are planned to run along the high-speed railroad (HSR) between Moscow and St. Petersburg in 2028. According to him, the trains will run with a frequency of 10-15 minutes. In addition, he noted that the work on the High-Speed Railway in terms of construction is on schedule.
