Rosobrnadzor assessed the idea of abolishing the USE

The abolition of the main state examination (MSE) may negatively affect the motivation of schoolchildren in the study of subjects. This was reported on Wednesday, November 20, in the press service of Rosobrnadzor.

"The abolition of the examinations on the results of study in the basic school may negatively affect the motivation of students to master academic subjects," - quotes the message of the Department "RIA Novosti".

It is noted that this exam is the final stage of mastering the programs of basic general education. Rosobrnadzor is ready to consider the issue of the need to pass the USE for schoolchildren planning to enter college after the 9th grade, as well as to improve the procedure itself.

Earlier, November 16, Rosobrnadzor reported that the USE may be transferred to a 100-point evaluation system, as well as to use the results of the exam for selection to profile classes in the 10th year of education. It was also noted that the timing of the final transition to the new grading system has not yet been determined. At present, grades from two to five continue to be used in the USE.
