The investigation has reclassified the charges against four defendants in the criminal case of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow. This was reported by the Izvestia correspondent from the courtroom on November 20.

Now the defendants are charged with aiding and abetting a terrorist act (part 3 of article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

We are talking about the defendants Isroil, Dilovar and Aminchon Islomov, as well as Alisher Kasimov (all four are on the list of terrorists and extremists). Thus, the investigation considers them not terrorists, but their accomplices.

It is specified that none of the Islomov brothers considers themselves guilty. Kasimov stated that he rented an apartment to the alleged perpetrators of the terrorist attack. However, he also does not admit his guilt, as he did not know about the tenants' plans to organize a terrorist attack.

Prior to that, November 20, Basmanny Court of Moscow extended the arrest until February 22, 2025 for three brothers Islomov and Kasimov, reported a correspondent of "Izvestia" from the courtroom. According to the investigation, the Islomovs sold a Renault Symbol car to the perpetrators of the terrorist attack Muhammadsoobir Faizov, Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, Dalerjon Mirzoev and Shamsidin Fariduni (all included in the register of terrorists and extremists in the Russian Federation), while Kasimov rented an apartment to the terrorists. A day earlier, on November 19, Basmanny court extended the arrest of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack for the same period.

The terrorist attack in "Crocus City Hall" took place on March 22. Terrorists in camouflage stormed into the building, shooting and setting fire to the concert hall. The attack killed 145 people and injured 551.

Russia's Investigative Committee (IC) said that the terrorists who committed the attack after the crime were supposed to cross the border between Russia and Ukraine, come to Kiev and receive the promised reward. During interrogations, the accused confirmed that their actions were supervised by a certain man through voice messages in the messenger Telegram.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). In April, Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov said that there was an obvious Ukrainian trace in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. On May 24, the head of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Bortnikov, said that more than 20 people, including perpetrators and accomplices, had been detained in the case. All of them have been taken into custody and their arrest has been extended several times.
