Hotel for insects appeared in the Central Park of Tula

"Hotel" for insects installed on the territory of the zoo corner of the Central Park named after Belousov in Tula. This is reported by the press service of the state agency "Tula Parks".

The house was arranged with different decoration and filling: dry branches of different diameters, tree cuts with small holes, wood chips and straw. Now insects can live there and benefit the plants.

As noted TSN24, this is the first ecological "swallow" of this kind in the regional center.

Earlier "Izvestia" wrote that scientists have found an effective way to combat forest pests - caterpillars of the Siberian silkworm. To do this, they need to simultaneously infect them with two different parasites.
