In Moscow, the "yellow" level of weather danger due to wind will be in effect until Thursday evening, November 21. This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation on Wednesday, November 20.

Earlier in the day, leading expert of the weather center "Phobos" Evgeny Tishkovets reported that in the capital region began to form a temporary snow cover. According to the indicators at the weather stations of the Moscow State University, in Mikhailovsky, Moscow Region, Naro-Fominsk, Klin, its height is 1 cm, and in Volokolamsk - 2 cm, writes "Moscow 24".

He added that the snow cover began to form in other regions of Central Russia. Thus, in the area of the Central Forest Reserve in the Tver region its height amounted to 5 cm, in the Pskov region - 4 cm, in the Smolensk region - 3 cm.

According to the specialist's forecast, November 20 in Moscow is expected short-term snow, changing into rain. During the day, the air will warm up to +5.

"On the ground will briefly appear half a centimeter of symbolic temporary snow cover, which in the evening and will melt," - said Tishkovets.

Earlier on November 20, the Hydrometeorological Center warned that on Wednesday residents of the capital region expect small, in some places moderate precipitation and wind gusts, according to the website kp.ru. The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from +1 to +3 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will rise to +5. In the Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from 0 to +5 degrees, at night the temperature will remain at +5.

November 19, leading expert of the weather center "Phobos" Mikhail Leus said that November 21 in the region are expected to fluctuate in temperature and lower atmospheric pressure, reports 360.ru.

Before that, on November 18, a specialist of the information agency "Meteonovosti" Tatiana Pozdnyakova told "Izvestia" that after November 23 in Moscow will begin to establish a snow cover. She warned that the nature of the weather will change, increasingly acquiring features of winter.
