A batch of Mercedes-Benz cars was released in the Moscow region


The former Mercedes-Benz plant in Esipovo near Moscow, which is now owned by the dealer holding Avtodom, has released a batch of cars of two models - the E-class sedan (W213) and the second-generation GLC crossover. This was reported on November 20 by the "Journal Avto.ru".
According to its data, the cars were assembled from machine kits, delivered to the new owner together with the company. Sedans of E-class and crossover GLC 2024 appeared on sale at a price from 9.68 million rubles.
The cars are equipped with an all-wheel drive system and two-liter motors. At the same time, if the sedan is equipped only with a gasoline unit with an output of 197 hp, then the GLC is also equipped with a diesel engine developing 194 hp.
In one of the dealer centers, where the cars arrived, said that these cars are covered by a warranty of 2 years or 100 thousand km, only about 40 cars were assembled, and further production is not planned.
In June, Kommersant reported that the former Mercedes-Benz plant in Esipovo near Moscow will assemble cars of Chery's premium brand Exeed. At the end of May, the Russian Car Telegram channel reported that the Exeed VX and TXL crossovers had been certified for assembly at the former Mercedes-Benz plant in Esipovo near Moscow. In early June, RBC wrote that Esipovo was planning to produce cars under the new Maxeed brand, but later Avtodom CEO Andrei Olkhovsky denied this information.
