In Kansk, at least 25 children poisoned at school


At least 25 children were poisoned in a school in the city of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Krai. This is reported on November 20 by the GSU of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk region and the Republic of Khakassia.
"In KGBUZ "Kansk interdistrict hospital" with signs of intestinal infection addressed at least 25 students of one of the schools of the city of Kansk", - stated in the message of the Department in Telegram-channel.
It is noted that most of the children were hospitalized in the infectious disease department, the rest of the children are undergoing outpatient treatment. Preliminary schoolchildren were diagnosed with acute intestinal infection. It is specified that the day before all children had eaten in the school canteen.
On this fact, the Department of Investigation of the Investigative Committee for the region opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements of life and health of consumers").
At the moment, investigative actions are being carried out at the school, the causes of the disease are being established, as well as the exact number of affected children.
Earlier in the day it became known about the poisoning of 23 schoolchildren in a school in Krasnoyarsk. According to investigators, 23 students from 1st to 11th grades went to hospitals with signs of intestinal infection on November 19. It was reported that all children had eaten in the school canteen the day before. A criminal case under part 1 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of the RF ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life and health of consumers") was initiated on this fact.
