Bitcoin continues to show impressive growth. Reaching the $100 thousand mark by the end of 2024 looks quite realistic. This was reported to "Izvestia" on November 20 by BitRiver financial analyst Vladislav Antonov.

He recalled that on Tuesday, November 19, the cryptocurrency updated the historical maximum, reaching a mark of $93.905 thousand.

"The potential for further growth remains significant, and reaching the $100 thousand mark by the end of 2024 looks quite realistic. Now the bullish trend remains strong, with the nearest targets at the levels of $94.5 thousand and $97.7 thousand with more aggressive movement," - said the expert.

According to him, the current growth of cryptocurrency is due to several key factors, for example, the activation of the institutional sector. Nasdaq is preparing to list options on the largest bitcoin trust iShares (volume of $43 billion), and Goldman Sachs is developing its own platform of digital assets.

Antonov also pointed to the political factor. After Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election on November 5, bitcoin added 37%. The president-elect announced plans to turn the States into the world's cryptocurrency capital.

In addition, the financial analyst pointed to corporate activity. According to him, the news of a possible deal between Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. and the exchange Bakkt Holdings Inc. attracted special attention.

"If the growth rate continues and there are no negative surprises for risky assets, buyers may take bitcoin level of $100 thousand by November 23. However, it is worth considering the risks. Geopolitical tensions may provoke a correction to the levels of $89.35k and $87k amid investors' flight from risky assets. Nevertheless, fundamental factors remain positive for bitcoin's long-term growth," he added.

On November 11, Capital Lab partner Evgeny Shatov also suggested in a conversation with "Izvestia" that by the end of this year, the value of bitcoin may reach $100 thousand. He added that the rate will grow if Trump continues to declare support for cryptocurrencies, and as a result of specific actions in this direction.
