In Khabarovsk Krai the territorial bodies of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, local authorities and entrepreneurs have concluded an agreement to curb butter prices, writes IA AmurMedia with reference to the press service of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Khabarovsk Krai.

As a result of compliance with the agreements, prices for goods should stabilize. Their availability for citizens will increase.
Similar agreements have been concluded in 20 other Russian regions.

According to Rosstat, in September butter rose in price by 4.3%, since the beginning of the year this product has risen in price by more than 17%. If before 2022 butter came to Russia from all over the world, now only Belarus is left as a supplier, but it is not able to fully meet the needs of the whole country, the agency writes.

Earlier, oil began to be imported to Russia from Iran, and deliveries from India are expected.

November 14, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said that Russia plans to import potatoes from friendly countries. He specified that he gave instructions to work on this issue and determine the necessary volume for duty-free imports to the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Agriculture. At the same time, Patrushev emphasized that Russia stimulates domestic production.
