The prosecutor's office has launched a check on the fact of beatings at a school in Transbaikalia

The prosecutor's office of the Krasnochikoysky district of the Zabaikalsky Krai has launched an inspection after information appeared that pupils were beaten at a local school.

According to preliminary data, one of the schoolgirls attacked her peers. About it reports IA ChitaMedia, without giving other details.

In the near future, the school will hold a parental meeting. District prosecutor Aldar Batotsyrenov is going to attend it.

During the inspection, the prosecutors will assess how the school complies with the legislation on the prevention of child neglect and juvenile delinquency. The supervisory agency will monitor the progress of the inspection, which is conducted by the police on the fact of injuries to children.

Earlier it was reported about the initiation of criminal proceedings on the fact of beating of a nine-year-old schoolboy in Krasnoyarsk. The incident occurred in the school of Pokrovka microdistrict. The child was attacked by several teenage migrants. As a result, the boy received a head injury, he was hospitalized. The victim's mother told in social networks that this is not the first case of an attack by a "gang" on a schoolboy.
