A bridge destroyed by a heavy truck in Transbaikalia will be rebuilt

Restoration work on a bridge destroyed by a heavy truck has begun in the Beleisky district of Transbaikalia. Traffic on the crossing is restricted, trucks are wading across to the other side.

ChitaMedia news agency does not say when the restoration work will be completed.

The temporary crossing was damaged as a result of an accident involving a heavy truck on Tuesday, November 19. A 9-meter section of the lower wooden deck and a 9-meter section of the runway became unusable.

At the end of October it was reported that in Shilkinskiy district of Zabaikalsky Krai restored the bridge over the Kiya River, destroyed three years ago by floods. The bridge is located on the highway of regional significance Mogoytui - Sretensk - Olochi. The contractor assembled shore and intermediate supports, span girders, laid the earth bed, laid asphalt and arranged stairs.
