Russian Defense Ministry shows footage of missile strike on AFU company tactical group

On November 20, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of a missile strike on a company tactical group of the 2nd Airborne Assault Battalion of the 82nd Independent Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Sumy district, in the village of Yunakovka.

As a result of the strike, up to 50 militants, 12 armored combat vehicles and six units of automotive equipment were destroyed.

Earlier on November 20, the Defense Ministry said that Russian military forces had struck airfields and energy facilities of Ukraine's military-industrial complex. In addition, air defense forces shot down four French-made Hammer guided bombs, a US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher and 141 aircraft-type UAVs .

The special operation to defend Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
