Lada cars started to be offered to Dubai residents

Lada cars have become available for order and test drive at the site of one of the car dealers in Dubai. According to Pearl Plus Motors, several orders have already been received, TASS reported on November 20.

Pearl Motors specializes in the sale and service of rare premium cars. The company said it has signed a dealership agreement with AvtoVAZ and has become the official distributor of Lada in the United Arab Emirates. Now the preparation for work is being completed, Pearl Plus Motors will equip a dealership warehouse on its site, as well as open a service center.

The process of preparation for the official start of sales of Lada cars will last a few more months. At present, the dealer's site offers Granta sedan, Vesta SW Cross station wagon, as well as Niva Legend and Niva Travel SUVs. The delivery time of Russian cars to the UAE is from two to three months.

The company did not disclose the exact cost of each model, noting that it is determined for a specific order. At the same time, the dealer received several orders from customers for Niva Legend at a price of about 70 thousand dirhams ($19 thousand), which in the Emirati market is comparable to the prices of such cars as Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Jetour Dashing.

The day before it was reported that AvtoVAZ expects to start selling Lada cars in Iran in 2025. According to the head of the company Maxim Sokolov, the first shipments of cars to the local partner to pass the necessary certification has already taken place a few months ago in order for the cars to pass certification.

November 1, it became known that the first showroom with Lada cars appeared in Dushanbe. The opening took place with the participation of the management of AvtoVAZ and employees of the trade mission of the Russian Federation in Tajikistan.
