PCT reported on the popularity of cruise trains among travelers


Cruise trains are gaining popularity in Russia. This was reported on November 20 by Ksenia Naumova, Advisor to the President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, during a press conference in Izvestia IEC.
"On the basis of the cruise train you can make very interesting and unusual programs for their tourists. A little about the figures, over 67 thousand passengers this year made trips from May 1 to September 30 on tourist trains. This is a big enough figure. It is growing - it is already 23% more than last year, and this trend will be steady, will only grow, so you, traveling by tourist train, can get acquainted with several regions of Russia, even go abroad, for example to Belarus," - she said.
According to her, this year travelers have become more and more interested in this type of trips to Karelia and Siberia. On a cruise train you can also go to Baikal, Krasnoyarsk, Khakassia, Makhachkala, said Naumova.
In October, experts of the travel service Tutu named "Izvestia" top-7 destinations in Russia, where you can go with the whole family. They include Yaroslavl, Murmansk, Tula, Sverdlovsk, Lipetsk and Tyumen regions, as well as St. Petersburg.
