ROSSETI spoke about expanding cooperation with Serbian power engineers


"Russian Grids is expanding cooperation with Serbian energy companies: members of the republic's government and representatives of Elektromreza Srbije, Elektrodistribucija Srbije, and Elektroprivreda Srbije visited a number of facilities of the Russian electric grid holding company.
According to the press service of Russian Grids, the visit took place as part of the program of the 20th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Serbian Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
Thus, Serbian power engineers visited the Grid Control Center of Rosseti Lenenergo and the 330 kV Tsentralnaya substation. "During their working trip to St. Petersburg, members of the Serbian delegation familiarized themselves with modern IT solutions used in the Russian grid complex. In addition, specialists of Rosseti Group told about the implementation of innovative projects, including the construction of the largest high-temperature superconducting power transmission line," the press service noted.
The meeting of the Russian-Serbian committee will be held on November 21 under the chairmanship of the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov and Serbian Minister Nenad Popovic.
In October, a delegation of Russian Grids, headed by CEO Andrei Ryumin, visited Belgrade. There, meetings were held with Prime Minister Milos Vucevic, members of the government and the management of the Elektromreza Srbije power company. The parties are currently working on proposals for cooperation in various areas, including digitalization of processes, introduction of AI technologies, and personnel training.
