The first batch of updated crossovers Omoda C5 is already distributed to dealers, the model will appear in showrooms at the end of November. This was told by the director of retail sales of AG Avilon Ilya Petrov, reports "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" on November 20.

"The updated crossover will cost 4-5% more expensive than similar prerestyling versions," Petrov said.

From the current version, the updated Omoda C5 differs in the design of the grille and bumper, thinner L-shaped daytime running lights, the absence of a luminous strip under the hood and a nameplate with the brand name moved under it.

There will be no changes on the technical part. The front-wheel drive version has a 147-horsepower 1.5-liter engine and a variator, the all-wheel drive version comes with a 150-horsepower 1.6 engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch robot. Now the crossover costs from 2.3 million to 3.2 million rubles.

According to the results of October 2024 crossover Omoda C5 entered the top ten best-selling cars in the SUV segment and took ninth place with the result of 3.4 thousand sold cars.

The day before it was reported that the premiere of the updated Bestune B70 liftback in Russia will be held in December 2024. In the Russian market, the model will be available in three configurations and with two powertrains, the price of the car has not yet been disclosed.

Also on Tuesday, it became known that the new Jaecoo J5 crossover, the most compact model in the brand's lineup, will appear on the Russian market in early 2025. The starting price of the J5 is expected to be about 2.5 million rubles.
