Rosgvardia modernized combat equipment in the NWO zone with anti-drone screens

Specialists of the repair and recovery units of the Rosgvardiya carried out modernization of military equipment in the zone of special military operation (SMO) in the field conditions. This is reported in the press release of the department on November 20.

It is noted that the servicemen finalized the equipment, which is involved in service and combat missions on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).

In particular, mechanics of the department with the help of welded metal frame structures and wire mesh-fence created universal anti-drone screens that minimize the risk of destruction of equipment by kamikaze drones.

"Despite its simplicity and ease of manufacture, this method is today hardly the most universal means of fighting drones, which has already saved the lives of more than a dozen crews and drivers," said the commander of the Rosgvardia repair unit.

Earlier, on September 25, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Rosgvardiya told about the detection of enemy positions in the zone of the NWO. According to the Rosgvardeys, enemy equipment can be well hidden, although Ukrainian fighters often forget about camouflage. So, for example, recently the enemy stopped right in the middle of the road. The military also showed the launch of the UAV at night: its visibility and audibility is almost minimal due to the electric motor.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
