Captured AFU militant told about the peculiarities of military training

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) militants are trained by "decommissioned military personnel" who are not allowed to take up arms. This was reported on Wednesday, November 20, by captured AFU soldier Oleksandr Rafalyuk.
According to the man, he was mobilized by employees of the territorial manning center (TCC, an analogue of the military recruitment office in Ukraine), who came to his work. He was sent to a training range to be trained by former military personnel.
"These were decommissioned military personnel. There were even some who were forbidden to take up arms. Probably because of mental disorders," Rafalyuk said.
The military man said that they were sent to the combat zone to change positions. The man specified that it was difficult to call the place where they were brought as positions, because there were only a few trenches and tents. After the shelling started, the AFU dropped explosive devices in order to make fewer fighters captured.
Earlier, on November 18, captured AFU militant Viktor Shpileva said that the Ukrainian army command treats its soldiers as "cannon fodder." He specified that they abandoned them sent them "one way", dropping the fighters without training on the shelled territory.
In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (term expired on May 20) signed a law on toughening mobilization. In particular, he lowered the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 and signed a law on the creation of an electronic register of persons liable for military service, which combines information on the personal data of Ukrainians, including details of domestic and foreign passports. There are no provisions on demobilization in the documents.
Martial law in the country has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country.
