"On November 20, the People's Front brought humanitarian aid to the village of Ukrainsk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), which was liberated from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU). Izvestiya has at its disposal footage of civilians receiving the kits.

In total, the volunteers handed over 100 kits with food and essential goods. They included cereals, sugar, flour, canned food and hygiene products.

The delivery of aid was complicated by the fact that the roads to Ukrainsk were shelled, because of the proximity of the contact line residents had to stay in basements.

In addition, the Popular Front helped evacuate a bedridden 86-year-old woman. After the recent fighting, she was in a serious condition due to the stress she had experienced, and volunteers together with the military commandant's office took her to her relatives in Donetsk.

Earlier, on November 11, Moscow store owners sent canned food and stationery to the special operation zone. Long-term foodstuffs - canned food, stew, dried food and long-lasting food - were transferred for the servicemen, and stationery - paints, brushes, felt-tip pens and pencils - for children in the DNR. The amount of humanitarian cargo amounted to 60 thousand rubles.
