The British authorities should not escalate the situation in the conflict with Ukraine and call for Moscow's defeat. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in London on November 19.

"British "hawks" even now are seeking to add fuel to the fire, advocating new rounds of escalation. Judging by the speeches of officials from international tribunes, London has never forgiven the chimeras of inflicting a 'strategic defeat' on Russia," the embassy said in a statement in connection with the statements and actions of the British leadership on the occasion of "a thousand days since the beginning of the NWO."

The embassy noted that support for the Kiev regime will have no effect on Russia's determination "to fulfill all the set goals and objectives of the special military operation in Ukraine."

"We urge the British leadership to think about the consequences and refrain from pushing the world to a dangerous line in favor of illusory geopolitical calculations," the office added.

Earlier, on November 17, The New York Times reported that Biden allegedly allowed Ukraine to use U.S. long-range missiles to strike Russia. The Le Figaro newspaper wrote at the same time that the French and British authorities had made a similar decision, but then removed this information from the article.

EU diplomatic chief Josep Borrel said afterwards that on November 18-19 the issue of lifting restrictions on strikes deep into Russia with European weapons would be discussed.

At the same time, Deputy National Security Advisor to the US President John Feiner, in a conversation with journalists on November 18 , did not confirm that Washington had given such permission to Kiev. The official noted that the White House, when making decisions, proceeds from the situation on the battlefield.

Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Biden's possible authorization for Ukraine to use long-range weapons in this way was due to the fact that the outgoing US president has nothing more to lose. Nebenzya urged Western countries to forget about the idea of defeating Russia on the battlefield because it is impossible.

Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to defend Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022. The decision to conduct it was taken by the Russian president because of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to the increased shelling by Ukrainian troops.
