The Msta-B destroyed an AFU UAV control center on the Kakhovka direction

During a special military operation (SMO), the Msta-B 152-mm towed howitzers of the Dnepr group of troops destroyed a drone control point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kakhovsky direction. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 20.
It is noted that the operator of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) during a flight over the right bank of the Dnieper identified a Ukrainian UAV control point in an abandoned house. After conducting additional reconnaissance and confirming the target, the coordinates were immediately transferred to the calculation.
"We are trying to contain the enemy, so that no one jumped here, we work on planned targets, on what is detected. We will work on the enemy's control point by flying drones. Victory will be for us, and everything will be fine," said the commander of the calculation with the call sign Boroda.
Then the artillerymen promptly deployed the gun and calculated the coordinates for firing, destroying the enemy UAV control point with an accurate hit.
The ministry added that Russian fighters have to work every day in the most difficult conditions, but trained calculations spend only a few minutes from receiving the target coordinates to firing. For example, Msta-B calculations perform firing tasks to destroy armored vehicles, firepower, ammunition depots, fortified positions of the AFU, as well as enemy boats on the right bank of the Dnieper.
Earlier, on November 15, the Msta-S self-propelled artillery unit of the Dnipro group of troops hit a camouflaged mortar of Ukrainian militants in the Zaporizhzhya region.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
