Nadezhda Kadysheva's listens on HiFi streaming service Zvuk have grown sevenfold over the year, the service's general producer, Sergei Baldin, told Izvestia. The indicator jumped the most last summer - in August, listening grew by 43% compared to July. In these months, the average age of the performer's audience was 35 years old.

"I attribute this to the fact that her "Wreath" began to go viral in social networks," explained Sergei Baldin.

According to him, the scenario of music consumption has changed in Russia and in the world - now it is most often learned about from social networks. Bloggers use fragments of tracks in short videos, put them with sound.

"How exactly does a particular track fly into the trends? We have only seven notes, imagine how many hit combinations have been made of them over time. It's getting harder and harder to find such combinations, so it's logical to refer to what's already been done. But there is one thing that unites these tracks - it's positive, fast-paced, life-affirming music," says the expert.

On the wave of hype, Nadezhda Kadysheva launched a remix contest on the PromoDJ website. Among the works published there is "Wreath" for every musical taste - rock version, drum 'n bass, dubstep, disco. And one of the authors fantasized about how these folk motifs would sound if Nadezhda and Grigory Kadyshev sang it together with Modern Talking.
