The governor of the Tula region reported the suppression of a UAV attack over the region

Air defense forces have foiled an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) using UAVs over the territory of the Tula Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Dmitry Milyaev on November 20.

"Tonight on the territory of the Tula region on duty air defense units of the Russian Defense Ministry foiled an enemy attack using UAVs," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Milyaev specified that there were no damages or casualties as a result of the attack.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces shot down 42 UAVs over the territories above the Bryansk, Smolensk, Moscow, Kursk, Orel and Rostov regions. It is specified that the attacks were carried out between 21:00 and 23:55.

The armed forces of Ukraine are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
