The governor of the Bryansk region reported the destruction of five more UAVs over the region

Russian air defense forces have eliminated five more unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of Bryansk Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on November 19.

"Five more aircraft-type drones have been detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz also noted that there were no casualties or damage. Emergency services are working at the site.

Before that, from 20:00 to 21:00 Moscow time, air defense forces destroyed three drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territories of Bryansk, Kaluga and Rostov regions.

Earlier in the day, Alexander Bogomaz reported the elimination of 11 Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region. The Russian Defense Ministry specified that they were shot down between 18:00 and 19:00 Moscow time.

The armed forces of Ukraine are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
