The head of the Belgorod region reported damage due to falling UAV debris

The production facilities of one of the enterprises in the town of Alekseevka have been damaged as a result of the destruction of several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by air defense forces. This was reported by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram-channel on November 19.

"In the town of Alekseevka as a result of falling debris from drones on the territory of one of the enterprises damaged production facilities," - stated in the message.

It is specified that as a result of the fall of debris from drones also damaged power lines. As a result, residents of several streets remain without light.

Operational services are working at the scene.

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry reported the destruction of three drones of the AFU over the Belgorod region. The liquidated drones were of the airplane type.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
