In the U.S., an ex-child advocate mauled her adopted daughter to death

The mutilated body of the adopted daughter of former Department of Family and Children Services employee Diane Natasha Mack was found in the U.S. state of Florida Sebring. This was reported by the Daily Mail on November 19.
"A woman called police to report the death of her foster daughter. Police officers found signs of abuse on the girl's body. The child was severely malnourished," the article said.
During the investigation, law enforcement found surveillance cameras that showed the girl had been locked in a garage, beaten and starved.
According to deputies, Mack left her daughter on the floor and used pool chlorine to destroy evidence in the garage. It is also noted that she took at least four children living in her home to another residence before reporting her daughter's death.
The defendant is currently being held without bail as she faces charges of murder, child abuse, kidnapping and destruction of evidence.
Earlier, on November 8, police detained parents who starved their two-year-old daughter to death in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The body of the emaciated child born in 2021 was found in the evening of November 3 in the apartment of the house on Pionerskaya Street. A criminal case under article 117, part 2, paragraphs "g", "d", "e" ("Torture", "Murder of a minor") was instituted. Unemployed 27-year-old mother and 29-year-old father were placed in pre-trial detention. The parents were not registered with the police.
