The degree of wear and tear of heating networks in Pskov is estimated at almost 75%

In Pskov, the degree of wear and tear of heat networks has reached almost 75%. This was stated by the director of the municipal enterprise "Pskov heat networks" Igor Maximov on the air of radio "PLN FM".

"Now the wear and tear of networks in Pskov 75%, but I am skeptical about this indicator. It does not say anything about anything. The main thing is that they have to work. The degree of wear and tear indicates the complexity of the work, but our task is to ensure that even through these networks in the homes of Pskovites received heat", - said Igor Maximov.

According to him, the communal workers have missed about 15 years since the 90s of the last century and still can't catch up. So, annually, in order to replace the networks went well, in the city it is necessary to change 3% of the total length of heating networks - it is about 10 kilometers. Now the work is going on just 10-15 kilometers a year, but earlier it could be carried out on 500 meters for the same period of time.

The director of the MUP called the housing and utilities system clumsy, but noted that now it is beginning to straighten out. Works in the city are carried out on as many objects as possible at a time.
