A Ukrainian drone was destroyed over the Rostov region

A drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been shot down near Novoshakhtinsk in Rostov Region. This was reported on Tuesday, November 19, by Yuri Slyusar, the region's acting governor.

"The enemy UAV was destroyed in the evening by air defense means near Novoshakhtinsk. According to the data of the duty rescue services, it did without casualties and consequences on the ground," the Rostov region's acting head wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that the air defense forces shot down 11 AFU drones over the region, no one was injured. The Russian Defense Ministry specified that the drones were shot down between 18:00 and 19:00 Moscow time.

Also on Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said that three Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Belgorod region between 16:00 and 17:30.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
