The bridge over the Kanent'yavr River was reconstructed in the Murmansk Region

In the Murmansk region the reconstruction of the bridge over the river Kanentyavr, built in 1997, has been completed. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Transport and Roads.

The crossing is located at the 49th km of the highway Kola - Serebryanskie HPPs and connects residents and guests of the region with the village of Teriberka and the picturesque shore of the Barents Sea. Its total length is 22.6 meters

As specified by IA "Beeport", the contractor installed new supports, built the span structure and expansion joints, installed a railing, laid asphalt. In addition, slopes and ditches were reinforced, pavement markings were applied, and signs were installed.

"This is a major transition of the road project, which was performed in four phases. The start of the reconstruction was given in 2023, but for safe passage across the river a temporary bridge was built in 2021," explained the Ministry of Transport.

The bridge across the Kanentyavr was reconstructed under the national project "Safe Quality Roads".
