In Poland, a judge of the Sport Shooting Federation was showing how to safely use a gun and shot one of the competitors. This was reported by Sport.pl on November 18.

According to the newspaper, on November 17, among users of social networks began to discuss the video, on which the referee with a gun in his hands accidentally shot a competitor. It was specified that the incident took place at the end of September at the shooting range in Godawach.

At the same time, according to the representative of the Polish Shooting Sport Federation Wlodzimierz Galecki, the victim was not seriously injured. He specified that the man was wounded in the buttock and was discharged from the hospital after two days. However, Galecki added that the situation could have ended worse, as each pellet fires like a cluster bomb in a smaller version.

Polish police clarified that the 68-year-old shooter is indeed a qualified sport shooting judge. The incident is being investigated for unintentional creation of a direct threat of death of a person or causing serious harm to health.

The day before it was reported that as a result of two shooting incidents in the United States killed two people, 10 more were injured. The shootings occurred in two locations with a time difference of 45 minutes. Superintendent Ann Kirkpatrick noted that the first incident involved a vehicle and shots rang out through the crowd. The second shooting occurred on the bridge. Whether the two shootings are related to each other is not known.
