US President Joe Biden 's authorization for Kiev to launch long-range missile strikes deep into Russia has not helped to rally Ukraine's allies. This was reported by the Bloomberg agency on November 19.

According to the material, NATO does not expect the decision of the head of the White House to affect the balance of power. Bloomberg stresses that the West realizes the weakness of the Ukrainian troops against the background of "strong pressure from numerous and better-equipped Russian troops".

The publication notes that Biden failed to gain support on this issue. Thus, Germany did not follow his example and again refused to supply Taurus already after the US president's statement.

Earlier, on November 19, the mass media wrote about the reduction of support for Ukraine by the G20 countries. It is noted that, unlike the document based on the results of last year's summit in New Duli, the current communiqué did not include condemnation of nuclear threats related to Ukraine or demands to stop attacks on energy infrastructure.

The G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro is taking place from November 18 to 19, with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov representing Russia at the summit. In the already adopted final declaration, the participants of the meeting welcomed all constructive initiatives to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Kiev against the backdrop of Russia's special operation to protect Donbas, which was announced on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
