Air defense forces destroyed three Ukrainian drones over Belgorod region

Air defence forces have destroyed three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Belgorod Region. This was reported by the Defense Ministry on November 19.

The attacks were repelled between 16:00 and 17:30. The eliminated drones were of the airplane type, the ministry specified.

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry reported that Russian air defense forces had detected and destroyed 12 aircraft-type drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of the Bryansk region and another one over Belgorod region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
