Choosing an apartment for a large family requires taking into account many parameters so that the housing meets all the needs of children and adults. Sales department manager of Domodedovo Park Residential Complex Alexander Samotoylov told Izvestia on November 21 what is important to pay attention to when buying.

"The main criterion is a well-thought-out layout. For a large family, it is important to provide separate bedrooms for children, taking into account their age and gender, a spacious living room for joint recreation and a functional kitchen, where there will be enough space for the whole family," the expert said.

According to him, in multi-room apartments there is a demand for additional storage areas - pantries, closets or built-in closets, which will help to avoid clutter.

He also advised to pay special attention to zoning. The ability to designate quiet areas for children to sleep and study, as well as active spaces for playing and socializing, makes housing comfortable for all family members, Samotoylov emphasized.

"For families with children, it is critical to have educational institutions nearby: kindergartens, schools and development centers. Near the house there should be safe playgrounds and areas for active recreation, as well as access to medical facilities and pharmacies," added the manager.

At the same time, the advantage of some residential complexes can be spacious yards and pedestrian zones where children can safely walk.

In addition, when choosing a place to live, it is worth considering transportation accessibility. Convenient connections to the city and proximity to major highways will make it easier for the whole family to travel, whether by public transportation or personal car, Samotoylov explained.

"When choosing an apartment, it is important to consider parameters such as soundproofing so that each family member can rest or do their own thing without disturbing others. High ceilings allow to create a feeling of spaciousness, and built-in furniture or multifunctional solutions help to use the space as efficiently as possible," said the specialist.

The flexibility of the layout also plays a role. For example, the ability to combine rooms or install mobile partitions will allow to adapt housing to the changing needs of the family, the expert explained.

"When buying an apartment, large families should pay attention to such aspects as a protected territory, the presence of video surveillance and safe walking areas. These factors create additional conditions for a quiet life, especially when it comes to children," concluded Samotoylov.

Earlier, November 2, it was reported that when buying housing Russians are primarily focused on its location and only then - on the available budget. This is stated in the results of the VTB survey. Every third Russian considers the most comfortable "young" secondary housing - real estate, which is 3-10 years old. Another 30% or so named a country house as comfortable. The comfort of new buildings - up to three years from the date of delivery of the house - was noted by 23% of respondents. And only 15% prefer secondary housing, which is more than 10 years old.
