Lavrov called the outcome of the G20 summit in Brazil positive

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called the results of the G20 summit in Brazil positive on Tuesday, November 19.
According to him, "weighty agreements" were reached during the meetings.
"First, a new coordination structure - the Global Alliance to Fight Hunger and Poverty - was supported," Lavrov said during a press conference.
He specified that the goal of this initiative is to move towards the complete eradication of hunger. In this regard, Russia has taken a number of measures to ensure food security.
"I hope, even with a certain degree of confidence I can say that the creation of such an alliance will improve performance in this area," the foreign minister said.
In addition, Lavrov said that Russia agrees with the paragraph on Ukraine in the final declaration of the G20, which states the importance of resolving the conflict.
The G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro takes place from November 18 to 19, Russia was represented by Lavrov. In the already adopted final declaration, the participants of the meeting welcomed all constructive initiatives to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. Bloomberg reported that French leader Macron independently sought out Lavrov at the summit and shook his hand.
Meanwhile, former Pennsylvania Senator Bruce Marks said on November 19 that the still-former White House chief Biden wants to make it harder for President-elect Trump to negotiate with Russian leader Vladimir Putin by authorizing Ukraine to carry long-range weapons strikes deep into the Russian state. However, Marks also pointed out that Russia cannot be pushed into negotiations through threats.
