The average age of an electric car owner in Russia has become known

The average age of an electric car owner in Russia is 43 years, which is four years less than that of an owner of a car with an internal combustion engine. This was reported on November 19 by the analytical agency "Avtostat" based on the results of the survey, which was attended by more than 900 owners of electric cars.
The survey showed that the percentage of men among owners of "green" cars is higher than among those who drive conventional cars (74% vs. 67%). Correspondingly, there are fewer women among them (26% vs. 33%).
It also turned out that among owners of electric cars the share of married or married people is higher than among those who prefer conventional cars (90% and 85% respectively).
At the same time it turned out that among owners of cars with internal combustion engines 76% live in urban apartments, while among "electric drivers" the share is only 53%. At once 39% of the latter live in country houses and cottages, among owners of conventional cars there are only 15%.
The day before it was reported that sales of electric cars in Russia have fallen sharply. In October, 1,387 new electric vehicles (BEV) were sold in Russia, which is 20.5% less than a year earlier. The bestseller in the segment is the Zeekr 001.
On October 24, the Chinese company JAC announced about studying the Russian market of electric cars with the prospect of introducing a new model - urban hatchback E30X. Now JAC E30X is officially presented on the market of Belarus. The electric car is equipped with a 136-horsepower electric motor and is able to travel up to 405 or 505 km.
